Career Opportunity
The Senior Client Associate role focuses on meeting the day-to-day needs of our private clients. You will work closely with our Investment Counselors and Portfolio Associates, as well as directly with clients and their other professionals. Responsibilities will focus on operational aspects of client service, including opening new accounts, handling client transaction requests, and ensuring accuracy of client bills and reports. We are looking for a well-rounded individual who is driven to succeed, has a passion for learning, is naturally curious, and takes initiative.  Teamwork and close collaboration within Bailard's Wealth Management is essential to success.

Qualifications Essential for Success
We are seeking a colleague who is dedicated to a career in wealth management. If you are an energetic self-starter who is interested in being a vital part of our team, we can offer you the opportunity to work in a collegial, open-door environment. The following qualifications are preferred:
  • A deep understanding of wealth management and experience working in a client service role.
  • At least five years of work experience in a similar role within the wealth management industry
  • Strong operational and client service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to multi-task with competing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to critically think and creatively problem-solve
  • Ability to work well in a team to build and foster relationships internally and externally
  • Outstanding work ethic, personal initiative, and a goal-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Undergraduate degree and equivalent practical experience

Location
  • This position is a hybrid role and will need to be in the office a two to three days per week.
  • In-person interaction with colleagues and clients is important to our corporate culture. We prefer Client Associates to be in the Bay Area, within driving distance of our offices.
